14 But behold, to their astonishment, the city of Noah, which had hitherto been a weak place, had now, by the means of Moroni, become strong, yea, even to exceed the strength of the city Ammonihah.
From the story of Moroni and Amalickiah we can learn much about how to resist Satan’s tactics. While sometimes Satan will engage in a full frontal assault, usually he will do as the Lamanite armies did and try to seek out our weak places. He will look for those spots in our faith or our character that are fragile and press on those weaknesses.
But fortunately, God has the amazing ability to turn our weak places into strongholds. Not only that, but because those weak places have become strong they will remind us of God’s matchless power when we turn to them.
But for that to happen, we can’t sit on our laurels. We must keep working hard to build our weak places into strong ones. This requires prayer and constant effort. For it is when we become complacent that Satan will attack again and again.
