Journey through the Book of Mormon: Mosiah 25 (Welfare of their Souls)

11 And again, when they thought upon the Lamanites, who were their brethren, of their sinful and polluted state, they were filled with pain and anguish for the welfare of their souls.
This is one of the best indicators that the people of Mosiah were truly converted after hearing King Benjamin’s address. Throughout the Book of Mormon this pattern is repeated. Those who are fully converted gain a desire to reach out to their enemies. Rather than feeling bitter anger, being told about the captivity of those of Limhi and Alma only inspires a desire to teach and convert the Lamanities.
